On Tasmania’s rugged North West coast, you’ll find Hellyers Road Distillery, makers of Australia’s Finest Aged Whisky since 1997.
Offering a world-class Cellar Door experience, you can enjoy a whisky flight, taste direct from cask in their Distillers’ Choice experience and go behind the scenes to tour the distillery. All single malts are available by the full and half nip, including Cellar Door exclusives and their famous Whisky Cream.
Launched in 2026, the Distillers’ Choice experience invites whisky lovers to taste and hand bottle their own 500mL single malt whisky using the historic Copper Dog system. Housing 14 casks aged up to 22 years, the collection spans some of the world’s most interesting whisky regions, from Europe and the United States to Australia. Visitors taste through this remarkable selection before taking home Australia’s Finest Aged Whisky, bottled and labelled by hand.
An easy 30-minute drive from Devonport, Hellyers Road is open daily from 10am to 4.30pm with breath-taking views of Emu Valley, tastings of award-winning whiskies and the World’s best cream liqueur.
